  • Condition: Minimal wear; minor scuffs, marks, or small dents from that one shipment are possible

  • Appearance: Clean exterior, straight lines, solid floors, fully functioning doors

  • Colors: Usually light tan or light grey for a modern, uniform look

  • What to expect: Not showroom-perfect, but as close as it gets in the container world—ideal if you want something sharp-looking and long-lasting

  • Condition:  Heavy dents, surface rust, faded or worn or mismatched paint, rough floors, visible patchwork repairs, visible dents and old shipping line names/markings may still be on the container—while it remains wind and water-tight

  • Appearance: Rugged and work-worn; built to function, not to look pretty

  • Colors: Wide variety of faded/mismatched colors, often with shipping line markings and large patches

  • What to expect: Function first. Expect cosmetic damage, stiff doors, and a floor that isn’t spotless.
